Finally arrived in Los Angeles – and this is probably the best result of the trip. As you all have already seen on Facebook or Instagram, I flew yesterday at 15.45 with LH452 from gate H17/H18 to Los Angeles (LAX), the flight was ok, the crew friendly…

There was a delay of about 30 minutes as items still had to be loaded – but it will be an – on time – arrival. The food was good, the flight LH452 relatively quiet and I had time to watch the movies “Mission Impossible 4” and “In Time” once, as I hadn’t made it in Munich. More photos of the flight and the surrounding area will follow as soon as I have better internet.

At the baggage carousel in Los Angeles, there was a surprise for many Lufthansa guests and myself after the carousel stopped after 30 minutes and a large amount of baggage was missing. The Lufthansa employees then quietly explained that they would like to visit “Lost and Found”, as at least 62 pieces of luggage had not been loaded in Munich, as there was a problem with the baggage carousel at the airport and the luggage would then be sent to Los Angeles in the next few days?

So pick up the rental car (not much to load) and finally at 21.30 (LA time – 06.30 in Europe) at the hotel. Just to go to bed and try to get some sleep… What a start… more tomorrow Sunday.
