My first really official designer mules are from Jimmy Choo, the Bing 100 mules. I really thought long and hard about whether I was the type of woman who would be happy with mules. I have already tried a few mules or open high heel sandals from different designers.

Why did I search for so long in advance? I’m just not used to seeing my heel from behind. It may sound funny, but I have my heel firmly in the shoe with almost all high heels. It’s completely unfamiliar not to have this support and to see my leg look even longer.

I have to say that with mules or sandals with an open heel, you have to pay even more attention to a neat heel area. If I do a lot of sport and go running a lot, my heels need a lot of extra care.

However, I have now found my favorite mule and would like to show you this new high heel on my shoe shelf.

Jimmy Choo Bing 100

My new Bing 100 mules by Jimmy Cho are made of black patent with a shiny glitter crystal strap. The tip of the mule is beautifully pointed and the heel is nice and thin. Even though I had a bit of respect for the shoe’s grip at first, I now have very few problems wearing it. You get used to the mule quite quickly and feel secure when walking.

When I saw the Bing 100 shoes for the first time, I knew that if I was going to buy mules, it would be these. When I saw a color variation of the model on Beyonce at the concert outfit, I could imagine the design even better on me.

They are just so shiny and sparkly that the missing heel area doesn’t bother me at all. On the contrary, it’s really nice to be able to slip into the shoe quickly and easily.

Even though the high heel looks very summery due to the style, I find it extremely elegant for many festive occasions. I now wear the shoe with long dresses as well as short summer dresses and mini skirts.

I even find that the shoe looks particularly elegant in combination with tights and stockings, but of course it also looks great with bare legs.

High heels from Jimmy Choo

For me, Jimmy Choo is one of the absolute top luxury designers when it comes to elegant high heels. Even though Jimmy Choo shoes are still in the minority on my shoe shelf, I find the current designs and workmanship very convincing.

The new Jimmy Choo Bing 100 mules have now found their place of honor next to my glittering Christian Louboutin high heels. You are sure to see these mules high heels more often in my fashion looks.

Experience shoe size Bing 100 Jimmy Choo

Although the Bing 100 high heel is open at the back, I wanted it to sit perfectly on the foot. Visually, I wanted it to create the perfect line and therefore fit my body perfectly.

My typical shoe size is 37 (So Kate’s is 37.5), but I needed a size 38 in this Bing 100 shoe. It’s almost a bit unusual for me to wear such a large shoe size. For comparison, I wear a size 37.5 in my 15cm heel sandals Max 150 by Jimmy Choo.

Problems with the Bing 100 heel

My new high heels have a heel height of 10cm, which is the perfect height for me. I prefer to wear high heels without a platform with a heel height of between 10cm and 12cm.

However, I don’t want to hide the fact that I had a few problems with this style of high heels:

First, I ordered my Bing 100 online (in different sizes), however, all pairs of high heels had at least one slanted heel each.

This was not only annoying when trying them on, but also looked quite strange from behind when standing. I would have loved to keep the mules straight away as I thought they were so beautiful, but I sent them all back because of the slanted heel.

Even though these types of designer shoes are made by hand and mistakes can happen, I don’t want to wear these mistakes. I ordered the right size again and one of the heels was crooked again.

I wasn’t sure if I should give it another try or if it was perhaps a sign that I shouldn’t wear mules after all?

When I saw the shoes while shopping in Hamburg, I thought I’d give it another go. My size was even in stock and of course I took a mega-super-critical look at the heels.

However, I didn’t find anything wrong with this pair and so I ended up with my mules after all. I’m looking forward to wearing these shoes a lot more.
