I love to dress feminine and elegant and love to motivate other people to believe in their dreams, wishes and styles.
Far too often we are told what we can wear as women or men – and I am always happy to see creative and open-minded people around me. Only through good conversations and openness can you grow and become the best version of yourself. I tried for far too long to please other people, to fit into pigeonholes and today I enjoy it – no longer fitting into a pigeonhole and being at peace with myself.
Whether you’re an elegant business woman with a blouse, skirt and stockings, an elegant an stern lady in leather and latex, who likes to make decisions for the other person, and show them how to be the perfect gentleman (or gentlewoman) – or a high-fashion lady with luxurious dresses, transparent materials, high heels or boots… –

It all started more than ten years ago with a trip to the USA and a few messages for friends and family. What has grown from that over the last years is my story – welcome to Vanessa Pur – Luxury Lifestyle -. This is my story and maybe a motivation for other people. Believe in your vision and most of all believe in yourself and your dreams!

What has grown from that over the last years is my story – welcome to Vanessa Pur – Luxury Lifestyle -. This is my story and maybe a motivation for other people. I can’t tell you how often I’ve received these “recommendations” from supposedly good friends over the last ten years. Always advice on what I’d better not do, but that’s exactly what became my motivation.
Real friends asked me many years ago how I liked hotels on my road trip through the USA and instead of sharing individual impressions for each person via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or similar apps, I had decided at that time to share the impressions on a “blog”. My first blog “pureGLAM.tv” was born and without much design or knowledge of Google, I just shared my photos and wrote about my hotel experiences, but also about my outfits.
While in Germany you had to write either a fashion blog or a travel blog to get invitations, I was an exception and an exotic with a “lifestyle blog” at that time. In the USA or in Asia it was completely different and many people already understood the connection between fashion and travel, between technology and cooking. There, lifestyle blogs were the norm. If I trust a person with a baking recipe and like the style, I might like the restaurant or hotel as well.
I can still remember very well my first invitations to fashion weeks or travel fairs. You were always the exotic one of the group. While some German PR agencies quite boldly said, we have invited ten fashion bloggers and one lifestyle blogger, international hotels and cooperation partners were already much further.
So I reported about hotels in Australia and Asia, presented wellness in Austria or realized crazy lifestyle moments. It was an incredible fun and yet you also learned many things for your own life.
I have additionally given countless talks and workshops for companies and big brands, but also bloggers and YouTubers. On the one hand on how to deal with the new influencers, but also for bloggers on how to cooperate with brands, how to build blogs and how to be considered by Google. Many trips for bloggers were organized, nice restaurants visited, great brand collaborations established.
They always say there are certain “key moments” in life. So it was with me, where I realized that I no longer did many things for me, but only for other people, so that they can work well – with their blog, with their collaborations.
All of a sudden, at an event I organized, you hear those “good advices” about my online presence all over again – you’re not going to… and what do your friends and family think about it and your style…?
Today – a few years later, I can only say it was the perfect motivation and the beginning of a new journey and a new life.
No longer did I want to have to fit into some pigeonhole, promote the next breakthrough health tea, or show off the next amazing teeth whitening treatment.
I no longer wanted to have to just write positively about a hotel even though there was no service at breakfast, the used towels from the previous person were still in the bathroom, or housekeeping just stood in my suite despite Do-Not-Disturb notices where I got out of the shower and asked if I wanted room service now.
I didn’t want to be dictated which clothes I should present soon (and of course link for re-buying) because my followers might like it – I wanted to be feminine and sexy and show that to the outside world – no matter how cooperation partners or agencies think about it.
For a long time I had thought about whether I should stop my blog altogether and focus on other topics or areas. Even if initially the thought, pureGLAM.tv with more authors was still an option, I quickly realized, it was not ME – it was no longer my story and you were still again dependent on what other people (should) think or agencies would like to read.
With the termination of pureGLAM.tv ended for me also a period with specifications and many collaborations – but looking back not always with moments where I would still stand behind today.
Therefore, it was time to present the reports that I still like – completely without external influence – on my site – Vanessa Pur – where I can stand behind 100%. I have decided to offer on my pages – no advertising space – and no more cooperations, but only to report on things that I have experienced myself and what I have bought myself. As tempting as it may be sometimes to be invited to great motivated hotels or to get a new great smartphone, it would not be my uninfluenced opinion. I would also like to use it to motivate many people, women and men, to believe in their own dreams and desires, not to be pigeonholed in any way.
Regardless of whether you wear boyfriend jeans or a tight leather catsuit, shiny vinyl pants or a linen blouse, enjoy your style.
It’s your life and time is way too short to be boring. If so-called friends don’t want to or can’t understand you, maybe they are not the right friends.
