Impressions of Budersand Spa with a relaxing massage at the wellness spa on Sylt. When you try to describe the SYLTER feeling at the Budersand Spa in the Budersand Hotel on Sylt, the first thing that comes to mind is the dunes and the rough North Sea. In addition, the fresh, cool wind from the sea, the beautiful glittering sunsets and of course the countless restaurants, small guesthouses and great hotels, but also a walk on the beach, in the summer at 25 ° C or strong winds and temperatures in the single digits in spring, autumn and winter. That there is still another definition for the SYLTER Feeling, which summarizes everything, I was allowed to experience afterwards in the Spa and Wellnessbereich of the BUDERSAND hotel in Hörnum.
As soon as you enter the spa area, you immediately notice the spaciousness of the rooms, which permeates the entire hotel. The aura of peace and security, of relaxation and opportunities to dream… the calming view of the water, the bright treatment and relaxation rooms – a friendly welcome. I have already been to Sylt for my relaxation massage.

The options for a fitness program on the equipment or with Budersand Spa trainers are here and yet I would rather opt for a relaxation session and enjoy the view of the sea than get really active, but the option for endurance sports would definitely be there :-).
I wanted to experience the SYLTER Feeling in the Budersand Spa, the special experience what describes SYLT, which I described to you already on the first day after my arrival. SYLT experience – away from the hustle and bustle – switch off on the beach, let your soul dangle and breathe fresh sea air.
But also for this there was exactly the solution – the “SYLTER Feeling”, the special massage treatment, should describe exactly this feeling, which makes SYLT and the island so famous. This experience, which one has and also takes away again from the island, until at home the longing grows to come back to SYLT and to experience the Feeling… again.

In addition to the treatment rooms of the Budersand Spa with perfect, direct sea views, there are of course treatment rooms for cosmetics and massages that embody the direct seclusion and tranquility. A soft murmur of the sea and the beginning of my SYLTER feeling.
After a foot peeling with original Sylter sand from the North Sea, and lemon-mint oil from Pino follows a special full body peeling with a raw silk glove. Unlike a regular peeling, you don’t need to shower in between for this spa treatment, which I find very pleasant – just lie down, let your mind wander and relax.
The following Budersand Spa massage with warm clams will automatically make you dream of a sunny day on SYLT, a walk on the beach, past a lighthouse and enjoy the pleasant warmth. Dreamlike! I can’t really say whether I prefer Sylt in spring or autumn, or on really nice summer days. I think I need a little more time to find out.

But SYLT also has other weather sides and you notice that at the latest, with an invigorating peeling, which is relatively fresh and cool at the beginning, but is immediately absorbed by the body. Wrapped in towels, you enjoy the subsequent facial treatment and quickly forget that you are actually “only” at a spa treatment.
A wonderful signature massage and treatment, as well as many other spa programs in the BUDERSAND SPA and I could really imagine myself walking along the North Sea on a warm summer day, the sea and the sand is still a bit cool and how you look forward inwardly to the subsequent dinner.
I do the same and enjoy after the SPA treatment a special evening at KAI 3 under the direction of Jens Rittmeyer, but I’ll tell you more about that in the next days… now I let first of all the soul dangle… and enjoy the view of the sea from my terrace, while I’m still wrapped in my fluffy bathrobe and drinking warm tea…
