Leather shorts or shorts and leather knee high boots as a perfect fashion trend for fall as autumn style. Shorts and skirts combined with boots fit perfectly in autumn or cooler days. With a plain top, knee high boots look double intense and confident.
Shorts and leather knee high boots – autumn style
For me personally, fall starts when I rearrange my summer top in my closet and have the thicker sweaters at hand. That’s exactly when I notice my wide selection of boots again. Whether they are ankle boots, knee high boots or over the knee boots, they finally go with a lot of my looks again.
When it gets really cold, I like to wear my leather pants with them, however, many autumn days are still sunny, so I like to combine shorts and skirts with them. Just recently I found two new shorts for this winter, which you will surely see in my outfits very soon.
Shorts or short skirts with boots
For me, there are often two versions of how I like to wear boots. For the more comfortable feeling on the legs I like to wear a 20den, 30den or 40den tights. My preference here is to choose black tights, however on sunny days light colored tights go very well with a boot outfit.
Does it have to be shorts?
No, I alternate between shorts and short skirts depending on the occasion and comfort. I also find skorts, or short culottes, super comfortable. I wore this combination of my knee-high Christian Louboutin boots with short leather pants while shopping in the city. Since I can never rule out trying on shoes, I prefer to wear shorts or skorts then.
Miniskirts are perfect for me when it should be more elegant or going to the evening. With shorts, the buttocks are once again emphasized differently than with a skirt. Both have their appeal, however I really like the slightly bolder version with a pair of tight shorts or even hot pants in contrast to my roll neck top.

Knee high boots or over knees in fall
Over the knee boots or thigh high boots I also like to wear with my short leather shorts. However, in this case it then depends on the material for me. While shiny leather boots and patent boots fit better in the evening, satin boots look more appropriate during the day. During the day, I therefore more often wear my knee-high boots made of leather instead of my over the knee boots. Now all I need is a wool coat and I’ll be out on the town…
