I promised you, there is a “secret and a secret room” in the Four Seasons Hotel Milan, the chocolate room. From the outside at first glance not so directly recognizable. Too quickly, you walk past the anti-pasti and desserts towards the kitchen.
On the right, the fresh seafood, on the other the omelet station with fresh egg dishes. It can’t really have been here, in between only the passage to the kitchen – and no room there either.

But when you sit relaxed at the table, look around the room and let your mind wander a bit, you notice a “Small Gap” right next to the entrance area – and the guests who went in there didn’t look to see if you had your coats, but came out of the room with small plates and a smile.
Was it really the “Room of Smiles” I had read about in my invitation? I could no longer concentrate on my meal and kept watching the guests of the Four Seasons Milan and it was true. They went in without a plate and came out with a plate out and a smile.

My curiosity was piqued and I wanted to try it. A slight chill rose to me, not serious, but a bit colder than the rest of the restaurant and then the smell also came right away – immediately recognizable – and also my face immediately turned into a big grin…. Chocolate… really a room filled with chocolate. The chocolate room – or should I say – the chocolate dream?

The Four Seasons Milan as a hotel, plus fashion pictures made of chocolate on the walls, decorated as clothes in the room and even as shoes, bags and watches and of course in between decorated and packaged in various chocolates, pieces of cake, thin bars or even glasses. The smell of chocolate filled the chocolate room and it was really – a pure chocolate room.

It took a few minutes to discover every little thing in the room and then came the most difficult decision for the day – which pieces do I want to try and do I really go only once or do I go a second time to the “secret room of smiles”.
When I left the room, some hotel guests also looked at me, whether you also thought there was the dressing room or whether it was because of my smile with the chocolate plate, I could not find out, but maybe yours – at a brunch at the Four Seasons Milan.
