In contrast to the previous model, the CANON EOS M10 has a new image sensor (Digic 6 instead of Digic 5) with a resolution of 18 megapixels at a sensor size of 14.8 mm × 22.2 mm. The autofocus in the new model works with 49 focus points, twice as many points as the previous model. The speed of the autofocus is a bit sluggish, but sufficient for a system camera in the price segment.
